TV heartthrob Parth Samthaan, who played Anurag Basu in Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay, is all set to meet his fans soon in his new avatar. The actor, who was holidaying in Goa after the end of his show, is back in the city and we hear the actor has already begun shooting for his next project.
Parth, who teased his fans with a promo of his digital series 'Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu' last year in December has finally begun shooting for it. The show is being produced by Ekta Kapoor and will stream on her OTT platform ALT Balaji.
In September this year a media report in TOI suggested that cracks had developed between Ekta Kapoor and Parth Samthaan after he decided to leave her ongoing show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 midway. These reports also claimed that because of the sour equation, Ekta might replace him in her web series, Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu.
And now, the actor is back on the set shooting for his scenes.
The series is based on the underworld and set up in the 80s and 90s era. Parth's character, who is a gangster, is inspired by none other than Abu Salem, who was involved in Bollywood extortion cases during those times. We exclusively told you that Patralekha Paul who is not just a wonderful actress but also in a strong relationship with famous actor Rajkummar Rao, will star opposite Parth in the series.
