Zaan Khan is surely going the extra mile to get into his character’s skin!
The talented actor is seen essaying the role of a young happy-go-lucky boy Naksh Parikh who has a keen interest and inclination towards photography but due to family pressure is being forced into the family business. Zaan has been pulling out all the stops to get his on-screen avatar right. After learning photography, now, to look convincing as a 22-year-old, the handsome actor lost 12 kgs over a period of one month to fit into his character perfectly. He invested majority of his time playing football and going for long runs to shed those extra kilos.
Talking about this, Zaan said, “I think it is important to look and feel your character. I weighed around 80kgs before I took up the character of Naksh but the script demanded me to look a certain way so I had to shed 12kgs within a month’s time and have touched 67kgs now. Well, it wasn’t easy as I had to be mindful of my diet too. I invested majority of my time playing my favorite sport football and indulged in multiple outdoor activities which helped me get the desired look. I hope the audiences enjoy watching me as Naksh Parikh.”
