Television actress Nisha Rawal has been facing a difficult time since her separation from her husband Karan Mehra. In a recent interview, she has opened up about raising her 5-year-old son Kavish alone and meeting the day-to-day expenses. Nisha revealed that her parents and her staff help her a lot in taking care of Kavish and that she is happy that her son is having a happy and healthy environment rather than a toxic one at home.
Speaking with Etimes, Rawal mentioned that the motherhood phase had been a splendid journey for her as it added more value and purpose to her life. She called it a ‘blessing and miracle’ that she witnesses every day. Talking about raising her son alone, Nisha stated, “Now that I am a single parent, I always say that it takes two people to make a baby, so it takes two to raise one. But you know sometimes in life you are at a stage, when you come across challenges, you land up being a single parent. I have no complaints whatsoever because it is a very big boon to me and I feel privileged to take care of my child.”
Nisha Rawal also admitted that she gets worried when it comes to meeting the day-to-day expenses. “From the time I wake up everyday to the time I get to bed, that thought is always on my mind. But you have to push back these thoughts. I won't lie that it doesn't worry me, it does because in our profession everything is so unpredictable. I might do a big show, but not have any work for a couple of years, it happens with a lot of people. There is a lot of unpredictability but my life so far has been good," she further explained. Meanwhile, a few days ago, Nisha’s ex-husband and actor Karan Mehra made a shocking revelation, claiming that Nisha has been staying with another man for the past 11 months in his house. He accused the actress of having an extramarital affair and of extorting properties, businesses, cars, and money from him.
Last year, Nisha Rawal filed a domestic violence case against Karan and his family at Mumbai's Goregaon Police Station. The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor got arrested for allegedly assaulting her but he was later released on bail.
