Neha Kakkar was recently trolled after she broke down in tears on the reality show ‘Superstar Singer 2’. She got emotional and cried while listening to a young contestant singing her popular song ‘Maahi Ve.’ Several netizens brutally troll Neha calling her ‘fake’ and ‘drama queen.’ Now, in a recent interview, the ace singer has opened up about the criticism she received for crying on the show and stated that she has that ‘quality in her and thus she has no regrets about it.’
Speaking with Etimes TV, Neha opened up about trolls targeting her and calling her a ‘cry baby.’ The singer said, “I can’t blame them, there are many people who are not emotional at all! For people who are not emotional, I would seem fake. But people who are sensitive, like me, will understand and relate to me. Today, we don’t see too many people who can feel others’ pain and who want to help them. The o saki saki hit-maker also explained that she wouldn’t call it drama because there are elements added in a reality show to make it interesting. Just showing singing and dancing might make it boring, so they also focus on the lives of the contestants and their families. The struggling stories of contestants connect with the masses as they are quite relatable and inspiring.
Neha will next be seen judging the popular reality show Indian Idol 13 with Vishal Dadlani and Himesh Reshammiya. She has judged the last three seasons of the show as well. Kakkar is returning with a bang to judge the new season and is busy promoting the same.
