The anti-Narcotics agency seems to be widening its radar. After summoning TV couple Abigail Pandey and Sanam Johar, comedian Bharti Singh and husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa came under the anti-narcotics agency’s scrutiny. The recent development in the drug syndication case has left one in shock. This morning, Narcotics Control Bureau raided comedian Bharti’s residence and now NCB has sent a summon to the reality show couple.
As per online reports, Narcotics Control Bureau have summoned Bharti and Haarsh for questioning. The TV couple has been accused of consuming banned substances. ANI earlier Tweeted, “Narcotics Control Bureau conducts a raid at the residence of comedian Bharti Singh in Mumbai: NCB #Maharashtra.” The move was taken after NCB expanded the drug probe linked to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Earlier this month, Arjun Rampal’s home was also raided and he along with his girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades, was summoned for questioning.
Producer Firoz Nadiadwala’s home was also raided a day before NCB conducted a raid at Arjun Rampal’s house. Many Bollywood celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet had earlier called for a probe.
The drug case emerged after Enforcement Directorate communicated Rhea Chakraborty’s drug WhatsApp chats with her manager Jaya Saha and some dealers too. Rhea was released on bail after being in NCB’s custody for a month. Rhea’s brother Showik’s bail plea has been rejected by High Court many times. Coming back, Bharti Singh is currently hosting India’s Best Dancer and is also a part of comedy show.
