Earlier, reportedly, NCB conducted a raid at comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa's residence which was then followed by a summon by the officials. The two even appeared before the NCB officials for interrogation. The couple was later arrested after accepting consumption of drugs and then Bharti was booked by the agency under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act of 1986. NCB even sought remand over consumption and financing of drugs. Reportedly, Bharti and Haarsh were sent to 14 days of judicial custody till December 4 in connection with the seizure of ganja from their home.
Later, the couple was granted bail by a Magistrate court on November 23. After grilling them for hours in this drug nexus in Bollywood and were granted bail, now the latest update suggests that NCB is seeking cancellation of bail of them. As per PTI, the Narcotics Control Bureau has moved to a special NDPS court in Mumbai seeking cancellation of bail of Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbhachiya in a drug case.
Nevertheless, earlier, Bharti and Haarsh have accepted the consumption of drugs. As per ANI reports, Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiya accepted consumption of Ganja. Reportedly, 86.5 gms of Ganja was recovered after the raid. Bharti was being arrested while Haarsh Limbachiyaa was under examination but later, even he was arrested by NCB.
