Television actress Sana Amin Sheikh recently released her first cover as a singer. The music video which is a mash-up of hit Punjabi tracks not only features her in it, but also has her crooning. The actress who has been part of many popular TV shows started her career as a Radio Jockey. Very few would know that she is quite attached to singing; so finally, she has officially made her singing debut. Despite not being a trained singer, the actress has been receiving praises for her voice so we decided to speak to her on the same.

Revealing the reason on why she lent her voice for the song, Sana says, "So, I belong to a musical family. Some of my family members are trained by the Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan Ustad Ghulam Mustufa Khan Sahab. Unfortunately, I am not trained in singing, but since music runs in my blood I have sur in me. I always wanted to do covers of Hindi songs and ghazals but never got the time to do it since I was busy with my acting assignments.  Since I’m free nowadays and a friend came up with this idea, I thought why not! Kyunki abhi nahi toh kabhi nahi.”

The actress also discloses, "This is a mash-up of the latest Punjabi songs which is unplugged. We have kept the voices raw with no tuning. So far, we are loving the result. Hope people will also love it and give thumbs up.”

Along with Sana, Sharjil Attarwala has sung the song whereas legendary singer Ram Shankar's son Aditya Shankar has done the mix and master of the track under the supervision of Ankur Singh. Check out the gang below:
