After news of Navjot Singh Sidhu leaving Sony's The Kapil Sharma Show spread like wild fire, Preeti Simoes, Creative Head, K9 Productios, released an official statement saying he is NOT leaving the show. She wrote, "There's no notice served by Navjot Sidhu to Sony Entertainment Television. A reaction on this issue is unnecessary. All propaganda that he's leaving is false."
A few days ago reports claimed that the laughter Guru's wife Navjot Kaur has confirmed that he is quitting the show. Apparently, Sidhu took the decision in the light of the upcoming Punjab assembly elections. Sidhu, the former MP, is planning to return to politics and hence the decision.
But fans of Sidhu can heave a sigh of relief.
