Munawar Faruqui has gained widespread fame following owing to his performance in Bigg Boss 17. However, the stand-up comedian has sparked fresh controversy as he is facing some serious allegations outside the BB house from a woman named Ayesha Khan. She has been accused of dating her while already being in a relationship with another woman named Nazila Sitaishi.
The woman also stated that before Bigg Boss 17, Munawar approached her on social media on the pretext of casting her in a music video. "The video never happened, but the second time I met, he was like 'I love you'," she claimed.
Ayesha went on to claim that she too developed feelings for him over time and while she was asked about his relationship with Nazila, she said that they had broken up about three months ago.
"The first question I asked this man was if we start whatever we are doing, will anybody in your personal life be affected by it, to which he said 'no'," Ayesha added.
Furthermore, Ayesha realized that she was being toyed with when Munawar entered the Bigg Boss 17 house. "I saw a story of him and his girlfriend (Nazila) on the latter's account and realised that he was dating me while being in a relationship with her," she claimed.
For those unaware, Munawar and Nazila went public with their relationship post the comedian’s stint on Lock Upp. Now, ever since Munawar entered the BB17 house, Nazila has been rooting for him on social media.
Ayesha’s allegations did not go well with Nazila, but she refrained from making a direct comment about it. Rather she took to her Instagram handle to pen a cryptic note.
Meanwhile, Munawar's team is yet to comment on the allegations yet.
Currently, Munawar has grabbed the spotlight inside the Bigg Boss 17 house owing to his growing closeness with Mannara Chopra. While the two have maintained the "just friends" tag, netizens are often seen shipping the two of them as "#MunNara".
