It's happening on Star Plus and it's a biggie. A tongue-in-cheek take of The Year That Was- 2018. Sunil Grover will play the protagonist and he will have six attractive saalis around him. They will indulge in banter and take you down memory lane on the major happenings in many spheres of life in 2018. You can say it's a Round-Up of 2018 in funny fashion, but it's not just one episode. It's a 8-week affair stretching over 16 episodes- Saturday and Sunday, 9 pm.
SpotboyE.com has it that Ali Asgar is also a part of the show, which goes on floors on Friday in Film City. A source says, "Sunil Grover has been mostly touring and doing private shows, of late. He had been wanting to do something very new and exciting. There's a lot that has happened in 2018, especially in India. So obviously, he loved the idea when he heard about it. And, he did not take long to say 'yes'."

So who are the six saalis? Says the source, "Well, the auditions are going on. A list of the probables will soon be made, which will then be shortlisted. By Friday or Saturday, a major part of the cast may be finalised."
It has been a few months since we saw Sunil on television. The actor-comedian had appeared in a web-series during IPL (Indian Premier League) in April this year. But yes, we did see him in Vishal Bhardwaj's Patakha co-starring Radhika Madan and Sanya Malhotra recently. That the film tanked at the box-office is a different story, but Sunil had impressed in his part. Sunil will soon be seen in a pivotal role in Salman Khan starrer Bharat directed by Ali Abbas.
