Popular television actress Mahima Makwana, who, won accolades for her Teulgu film Mosagallu, is in a mood to break her girl next door image. Mahima played the main lead in shows like Sapna Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Rishton Ka Chakravyuh and was last seen in Shubharambh. The actress recently had a photoshoot with the idea of an image makeover.
While answering what inspired her to go for her latest photo shoot, Mahima told SpotboyE.com, "I think the idea of giving my image a makeover. And the quench of experimenting looks without comprising on elegance inspired me to gave this a shot! Variety is the spice of life! Isn’t it? Actors are known for depicting variation in emotions and considering that aspect I worked on doing the shoot. When one gets a photoshoot done, the visuals from the shoot are something that you want the world to perceive you as." Mahima also shared the difficulties she had to face shooting it owing to the pandemic guidelines as she said, "Keeping the guidelines in mind, the photoshoot was done with limited resources and with less number of people to maintain distancing. There were quite a few difficulties starting from less sourcing availabilities, time frame for the shoot due to the night curfew and lastly repetitive sanitisation follow ups took more than usual." "We orchestrated naturality in the moodboard coupling it with vigour. My photographer- Aesana- knew that being an actor, I have a hold on expressions, so she gave the shoot a breakthrough by asking me to portray a burly woman," added the actress.
