Mahika Sharma, who rose to fame with her stint in comedy show F.I.R, was also hitting the headlines for her close friendship with a British porn star, Danny D. The two, in fact, were also approached for Bigg Boss 12 as a vichitra jodi; however, things didn't work out. Now, in a recent conversation with Times Of India, Mahika Sharma states how she was judged and mentally harassed for being friends with Danny D. Her mother, too, was bullied due to this very reason. Mahika, at present, is stuck in London due to the lockdown but that's got people assuming if she is residing with Danny D. Mahika rubbished all such claims.

The actress said, "I'm stuck here in London due to lockdown and the rules enforced by both countries for travel during this time. But many people troll me and assume that I'm holidaying here with my friend Danny D. Which isn't true! And even if I am living with him, it is should not concern anyone else, as it's my life. I feel mentally tortured about this situation. We are already suffering from so much negativity all around due to COVID19, on top of it people should not create such a situation on social media."

She added how people thought she's joining the adult industry too. "Earlier when media reported about Danny and I being in a relationship, people made fun of our friendship and asked if I was turning into a pornstar. Not only me, but even my mother was questioned. The society created a very bad situation. And the funny part is that people are more concerned about his money, as he earns well. They advised my mother that I should not put my character in question just because of the money," continued Mahika.

Lastly, Mahika urges everyone to stop encouraging online bullying and social media negativity. "I just feel people should stop bothering others unnecessarily. It is really bad when a group of people get together, call themselves 'the society' and keep ruining others lives with their verbal harassment," concluded the actress.

In the past, she was hitting the headlines for her controversial statements on Danny D.
