With Maharashtra Government imposing strict restrictions and blanket lockdown over the weekend due to rising cases of COVID-19 in the state, here is what TV actors have to say about the development:
Nikki Tamboli:
I know what this disease is like and trust me I never ever want any of my fellow country people to get it. These days have been tough and the situation is definitely going out of control due to which our government has planned to impose such restrictions on us for our own safety purpose. Hence it’s a humble request if each one of us can follow the guidelines and maintain discipline by staying home and avoiding social contact as much as possible. We have to end this “covid darkness” so let’s stand together and do it. Requesting everyone to stay home and stay healthy.
Karanvir Sharma:
As our government has implied such rules and regulations due to ongoing covid cases even if it is as frustrating for everyone as it could be to stay home all day and night but it is mandatory looking at the current scenario. Yes! The government has taken an important decision which was needed indeed for our own safety and hence as a responsible person. I will follow their guidelines and would request my fans too to do the same. It’s for our family for ourselves and we can’t lack in their safety. This too shall pass soon I’m sure. Till then be healthy and be safe.
Akanksha Puri:
2020 has been one of the disastrous years for the world and 2021 came as a ray of hope with the invention of covid vaccine. Nevertheless this virus has struck us again with a higher force hence it is our responsibility to defeat it and defend ourselves with whatever precautionary measures the government has implemented. It is very important for us to maintain the guidelines put forth by the government as, as soon as this disease is vanished we all can get our lives back to normal especially the people who have taken the hardest hit due to this disease. For them, for our family and the ones we love it’s a humble request to please stay indoors, stop out only if it’s absolutely essential and maintain social distancing.
Sanjay Gagnani:
As the situation in Maharashtra is going out of control hence the government has imposed such strict guidelines. Everyday reading and watching the numbers ticking higher and breaking records it’s just ghastly the amount of deaths cases rising day by day. The thing which is scary is that we too or our loved ones can be in that same place if we don’t alert ourselves and follow the norms now. It’s better to cry once than forever and we have to destroy this virus and break the spreading chain. If not in an emergency going out is not preferable and I would request all my fans to stay home and stay safe. Eat healthy, maintain social distance, follow the rules and fight against corona.
Thakur Anoop Singh:
A big necessity given the numbers that are on the rise in COVID cases! I fully support the government rules and guidelines however I am pretty sure if we as citizens abide by the guidelines for a few weeks, chances are we all can still beat the COVID as vaccination has arrived and started being given to every one who needs it! I am happy we haven’t gone down in a complete lockdown yet however if we don’t follow guidelines I am afraid even a lockdown can be imposed! So I request all to please let’s help each other and protect ourselves and families by not stepping out until very very urgent with proper precautions as we can’t afford another lockdown.
