Actor Satish Kaul well known for his work in the Punjabi film industry is facing financial crisis. The actor who played Lord Indra in Mahabharat is asking for financial help from the industry. Amidst of the lockdown, the actor is struggling with the basic needs due to the ongoing lockdown. He also refuted the rumours of continuing to staying in an old age home, he confirmed of residing with his friend during this ongoing lockdown. The actor has so far done 300 movies.
The actor in conversation with news agency, PTI, said, “I’m staying in a small rented place in Ludhiana. I was staying in an old age home earlier but then I’m here at this place with my good samaritan Satya Devi. My health is ok, I’m doing fine but the lockdown has made matters worse. I’m struggling for medicines, groceries and basic needs. I appeal to the industry people to help me. I got so much love as an actor, I need some attention now as a human in need.”
Though the actor is 73-year-old, he is keen to work in the industry if anyone offers him work. “The fire to act is still alive in me. It isn’t over. I wish someone gives me a role even today, any role, and I would do it. I’m raring to act again.”
Talking about his misfortune in business and his health, he mentioned of starting an acting school in Mumbai in 2011, but somehow things didn’t take favourable turn. Later in 2015 he suffered hip bone fracture and which got him bed ridden for two and half years. “It came to a halt and whatever work I was doing later was affected after I fractured my hip bone in 2015. For two and a half years, I was bed-ridden in the hospital. Then I had to check in to an old age home where I stayed for two years.” ALSO READ:
