The first ever International Wheelchair
Cricket Series in India
will be held in Mumbai for the first time in history and is organised by the
Nevada Putman Foundation.
Kamya Punjabi and Manveer Gurjar are the captain and
vice-captain respectively and will head a team of 11 other TV stars in a
6-overs action-packed night match at the Goregaon Sports Club.

Film and TV stars are not just expected to grace the
event with their presence, but will also participate in a friendly cricket
match between the winning team of the India-Bangladesh wheelchair series.
According to the organizers, 11 Bollywood well-known
actors will also play a friendly match on April 4 to show their
solidarity with the wheelchair cricket players.
