Going by the current course of events, the Coronavirus pandemic won't stop anytime soon it seems. With each passing day, we are witnessing a spike in the number of cases and deaths. Other than commoners, celebrities, too, are getting infected with the virus and we have had a number of cases so far. Recently, the speculations of veteran actor Jaya Bhattacharya, who is currently seen in Thapki Pyar Ki, succumbing to Coronavirus went viral. It all happened after she mourned the death of her co-star Irfan's death due to COVID-19 and urged everyone to get the correct treatment from the correct doctors. The actress, however, in her latest Instagram post, has rubbished them all in the most hilarious way possible.
The fan, who misunderstood her post, wrote that Jaya Bhattacharya lost her life due to Covid-19. The post had a snapshot of Jaya in a saree with the caption that read, "Another loss due to coronavirus. RIP Jaya Bhattacharya ma'am." Taking to her Instagram account, Jaya shared a screenshot of the same and asked her fans to confirm the news before spreading hoaxes. She wrote, "Ha Ha Ha Ha. I am alive and kicking. Please guy before putting up a post can you cross check. Damn." Her followers were quick to lol over this blunder and heaved a sigh of relief after hearing it from the actor herself.
Prior to this, Jaya had shared post writing about her Irfan's death, wherein she also expressed her anger over the lack of reliable doctors available for Coronavirus' diagnosis and treatment.
Check out her posts below:
Jaya's note read, "#thapkipyaarki team... The guy inside this, our Irfan, is no more. He was unwell from a long time. I kept on asking him for his reports to try to understand what the basic issue was that was creating all his health problems since the last 2 years but... Gulab Dada told me of his being in hospital and on a bad state some days ago and then his weak body contracted corona. Today news from Susu, Irfan is no more. Damn it. This is the second, lovely, hard working, talanted, person I am losing in this manner. I am no medicine person but if we get to the correct doctor at the correct time for correct diagnosis we can save a life...thats what I believe. I feel like shit right now."
