After Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, once again the conversation about nepotism, groupism and power play in Bollywood reignited. That’s not all, celebrities such as Kangana Ranaut made some shocking claims about the drug use in Bollywood, after which several people objected that the entertainment industry was being painted with the same brush. Now, Kushal Tandon says that the negative portrayal of the whole entertainment industry isn’t required, and that nepotism exists everywhere. Read on.

While speaking to Hindustan Times, television actor Kushal Tandon said that he doesn’t mind nepotism since it exists everywhere. He said that everyone has to prove themselves in the industry, and while there are many people who make films for their kids, but one can only move forward in the industry if they are truly talented. “Varun Dhawan is a good actor so if his dad (David Dhawan) makes a film, he will take him and not others. But I think our industry loves outsiders also, sabko chance mil raha hai,” he said.

Kushal Tandon also added, “For the record, there is too much work in this industry, there is no need to cry, just shut up and do your work. Do your thing and be happy. This is a full circus that has been happening and I am not interested in adding more chaos to it, that is all I will say.”


Kushal also however admitted that being an outsider isn’t easy and that they have to really work hard for it. He said that he did TV shows, and is now doing OTT, and he will definitely be doing a film when the right one comes along.
