Last month, Tenali Rama actor Krishna Bharadwaj, who plays the title role in the show, became the victim of cyber crime. The actor's Facebook account was hacked and he had complained about the same to the Cyber cell. Now, his account has been recovered.
Talking to us exclusively about it, Krishna said, "My Facebook profile and page both were hacked. So, I went to the police station and then the Cyber crime branch. They checked my phone and thankfully the device was not hacked, it was just the Facebook account. They recovered it and now my profile is working well but the page is inactive. It has been hacked by some Thailand beauty shop and the person is selling some beauty products from my page. Hence, the Cyber cell has kept it inactive."
He added, "I get mail from Facebook everyday that they are working on resolving the issue but they have limited staff to work on it, and that's why it is taking time. But they will get it activated soon."
For those who came in late, it all happened when Krishna was getting messages on his Facebook messenger/page, where a person who was chatting with him said that he is from the Facebook department and that Krishna needs to take out some post which is violating their rules and regulations. And then a link was sent to him in the Inbox, asking him to change the password. In that process the hacker had the actor's account.
