Popular TV actress Urvashi Dholakia shot to instant fame after playing the antagonist Komolika in Ekta Kapoor's popular show Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Even after so many years, her role of the vamp remains the most loved and iconic character on the small screen. Urvashi is back with a bang in Naagin 6, which marks her return to television after a long gap. The actress in a recent interview spoke up about the general perception in the industry that she’s a ‘bully’.
While speaking to Pinkvilla, the actress admitted that although she has never come across 'vultures', she is often called one. Talking about her reputation in the TV industry, Urvashi was quoted as saying, “I haven’t come across any vultures. In fact, people would say I’m the vulture. It’s who I am. There are a lot of people who have not appreciated me. Lots of people find me to be too strong-headed, like a bully. But I’m not. I have just been a woman who has her own opinions. And I’ve been like this since I was a kid. Whether you like it or you don’t, that’s not my problem. If you are entitled to have your own mind, and your own opinion and your own ideas, so do I.”
Meanwhile, Urvashi is currently seen playing a suave character in Naagin 6-which is led by Tejasswi Prakash and her role is essential in terms of story. In the current track, Urvashi's daughter will be getting married to Rishabh Gujral (Simba Nagpal). Giving an insight about her role, Urvashi had earlier told Pinkvilla, “She's very suave. She is the minister's wife who has class, money, taste and she's a doting mother to her daughters. That is all I can say. You'll have to see the show to know more.”
