Actor Rahul Vohra passed away due to COVID-19, hours after wishing for better treatment in a post on social media. He was 35. The actor breathed his last in a Delhi hospital. The news about his demise was confirmed by theatre artist Arvind Gaur. The theatre artist mentioned in a post on his Facebook that Rahul died due to COVID-19, hours after wishing for better treatment. TV actress and former Bigg Boss contestant Kishwer Merchant reacted on the news about the actor’s demise. She wished Vohra’s last message seeking help reached actor Sonu Sood.
In a post on Instagram, Kishwer Merchant reacted to the report about Rahul Vohra’s demise. In the comment’s section of the post, Kishwer wrote, “I so wish his message had reached @sonu_sood .. things would probably be different..” She added, “Prayers and Strength to the family.” Kishwer tagged Bollywood actor Sonu Sood in the post. She expressed regret over Rahul Vohra’s last message not reaching Sonu Sood. Kishwer said that Vohra’s last message reached Sood on time, things would be different and the late actor would receive the help he needed. She offered condolences to Rahul Vohra’s family and prayers.
Earlier, on Saturday, Rahul Vohra took to his Facebook, seeking help in getting better treatment. His post read, “Mujhe bhi treatment acha mil jata, To main bhi bach jata tumhaara" Vohra was admitted to the Rajeev Gandhi Super Speciality hospital in Tahirpur. Later, on Saturday evening, the late actor was shifted to Ayushman Hospital in Dwarka.
Hearing about Rahul Vohra’s demise, YouTube star Ashish Chanchlani made a tweet and expressed shock. He offered his condolences to the bereaved family in an emotional tweet.
