Today's Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 episode begins with Anurag telling that he is still waiting for Prerna. While Prerna feels someone’s presence outside the closed door. Later, Kuki goes downstairs and asks Anurag to kiss her on the cheek. Meanwhile, two men wearing a mask roam around Anurag’s room and after that, they try to kill him by suffocating him with a pillow. Anurag fights back and tries to catch them. He gets hold of one person, who reveals that they came to kill him. Everyone arrives in the hall at Basu house and get shocked.
Bajaj comes at the same time, but the person runs away. Anurag blames Bajaj for sending men to kill him. Anurag lies that the person revealed Bajaj's name before escaping. Mohini warns Bajaj for trying to harm her son.
Later, Nivedita gets upset with Anurag’s madness for Prerna and for his behaviour.
Anurag tries to give a pen drive to Prerna and also, asks her about Bajaj’s motives. Prerna refuses to take it while Anurag still leaves the pen drive.
Later, Prerna watches the recording and Bajaj also watch it. Prerna tells Bajaj not to attack Anurag in any way while Bajaj says that this time he will not back off.
Further, Bajaj also says that he is a good person and doesn’t have bad intentions. He wants to tell something to Prerna after Ganpati Aarti. Later, in the morning, everyone starts preparing for the Ganpati festival.
