Parth Samthaan’s memory loss in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 broke many hearts as his character not only forgot about his wife and love Prerna but also the fact that his wife is pregnant with his child. Fans were waiting with their bated breath to see Prerna and Anurag reuniting while giving out some adorable and mushy moments between the two. However, Anurag Basu has regained his memory and is now over the moon as he becomes papa in the show.

In the ongoing track, Anurag and Prerna met with an accident and while he is carrying his wife in his arms to hospital, he starts getting flashes of his past as he looks at some couples in the streets. Later, when he brings her to the hospital, her screams triggered Anurag’s memory and while he was remembering the moments he has spent with her, his memory gets clear and remembers about Prerna who is in the delivery room. He is beaming with joy as he became a father but this won't last for long as we have reported that in an unexpected turn of events, he will murder her and this track will definitely shock many fans.

Talking about the end of Prerna’s character in the show, producer Ekta Kapoor confirmed the same to TOI and was quoted saying, “Yes, this will happen.” Pointing out that they want to dwell on the darker side of love, she adds, “Anurag and Prerna are among the most loved pairs from the small screen, but now viewers will see betrayal at its peak."
