The popular television show Kasautii Zindagii Kay has come to an end. The last scene for the TV show was shot a few days ago, after which it was a wrap up for Ekta Kapoor’s romantic saga. The final episode will premiere on October 3, and fans of the show are going to miss watching Parth Samthaan, Erica Fernandes, Karan Patel, Aamna Sharif, Pooja Banerjee, Shubhaavi Chokey, Sahil Anand and others on their TV screens. Now Aashish Bhardhwaj, who plays Mohnish in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 says that the fate of the show would have been different, if Parth Samthaan hadn’t quit.
Kasautii Zindagii Kay was Aashish Bhardhwaj’s debut serial, and just months after his entry, the show has come to an end. While speaking to ETimes, he mentioned that he was very excited about bagging the role, but his happiness was short-lived. When asked what went wrong with the serial, he said that the show’s TRP’s dipped as key characters of the show such as Komolika, Mr. Bajaj got replaced. “The show’s TRPs dipped as there were a few replacements initially like Aamna Sharriff replaced Hina Khan, who played the popular character of Komolika and then Karan Singh Grover was replaced by Karan Patel as Mr Bajaj. The key characters of the show got replaced, so this might be one of the reasons for the dip in the show's popularity,” he said.
Aashish Bhardhwaj then added that then the news of Parth quitting the show surfaced, and had all of this not happened, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 would have ran for several years. “Also, had Parth not decided to quit, Kasautii’s fate would have been different,” he said.
