Now, here is some sad news and our heart breaks to tell you that TV Actor Parth Samthaan's father is no more. The father of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2's Anurag Basu, Mr. Lagathe , passed away, a short while ago. Parth is shattered as he was very close to his father. The details of the cause of death are still unknown.
Just 3 hours back, we informed you that he was admitted to hospital last night in Pune in a serious condition and Parth who was shooting for Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 then, had left immediately---- we hear, he drove off to Pune from the set itself but unfortunately reached only after his father had breathed his last. Mr. Lagathe's condition failed to improve despite the team of doctors attending on him, putting their best efforts.
A pack-up has been called on the sets of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 today. We hear, his colleagues and co-stars are planing to travel to Pune to be with him.
Parth's family keeps a low profile and has hardly been seen in Mumbai, not even much on the sets of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. All we have seen of them is through the posts that Parth keeps sharing on social media. It was only few months back that Parth bought his first house in Mumbai and said it was his gift to his Dad and Mum. Parth had even posted some pictures giving an inside glimpse into his new abode and the post read as follows: "Gift to my Parents —-MY FIRST HOUSE IN MUMBAI This feeling is beyond happiness ! Since the time one travels to a new city to aspire his/her dream .. you are always away from your home .. and while pursuing your dream you want to get your ‘home sweet home’ asap .. So with god’s blessings ...finally m glad that I am able to achieve one of the goals from my wishlist #myownhouse #2801 #hariom Ganpati Bappa Maurya"
