The Karan Oberoi rape case has a new development. The female astrologer who accused him of rape and extortion has been arrested by Oshiwara Police under section 182 ( False information, with intent to cause public servant to use his lawful power to the injury of another person) and 203 ( Giving false information respecting an offence committed) of IPC, we are further probing the matter another accused will be arrested soon. She along with her lawyer orchestrated the attack to frame Karan. Five have been accused in the case including the astrologer herself. Cops reveal that the men who have been arrested for attacking have named the victim’s lawyer behind the conspiracy and the lawyer has named the victim as the mastermind of the attack. She is being produced in the court by cops.

She accused him of duping her under the pretext of marriage, raping her and filming the act. The actor was in judicial custody for over a month and he finally received a bail from Bombay High Court on June 11. His housemates erupted with joy over his return and sister Bani couldn’t stop jumping with joy. "He is resting now. I am so happy. I started jumping up and down since yesterday and haven't yet stopped,” she told us. The others who are most happy are obviously Karan's parents (in Chandigarh) and his close friends Anveshi Jain, Pooja Bedi and Subhash Singh. "I am so happy that finally Karan is out. My friend is innocent," Singh says.
