Keeping her spot as the reigning queen of Indian television, Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 2 staring Mouni Roy and Karanvir Bohra clung to the first position this week as well.

But that is where the status quo ended.
Coming in next and making a remarkable improvement is Sony's comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show. The presence of Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam along with Rakesh Roshan to promote Kaaabil (February 4) and the pull of Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi who made an appearance to promote their courtroom drama, Jolly LLB 2 (February 5) helped the show. Kapil & Team rose from the fifth position last week to gain the second spot this time.

Colors’ mythological drama, Karamphal Data Shani, also had an impressive week. Climbing the ladder 5 steps higher from tenth position, the show is now in the 5th position.

Shani's success cements the notion that mythological shows always strike a chord with the audience.
Colors’ Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki and Zee’s Kumkum Bhagya have proved to be the most consistent performers. They are the 3rd and 4th (respectively) most watched shows for the third consecutive week.
Another Colors’ show that showed promise in Week 6 was Udaan. The Meera Deosthale-Vijayendra Kumeria starrer stepped up two slots, being the 7th most watched show between 3-9 February.
Star Plus’s drama Ishqbaaz, made an entry into the top 10 shows this week. Guess the romance between Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) and Anika (Surbhi Chandna) has finally caught the attention of the viewers.

Other serials from the stable of Star Plus to make it into the top 10 this week are Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Ye Hai Mohabbatein and Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. The shows reigned over the 6th, 8th and 9th positions respectively. We wonder if Raman’s (Karan Patel) portrayal of a woman (nanny for his daughter) will help the show climb higher.
