The shoot of Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii ended a few days ago, and it seems to have left actress Kamya Panjabi heartbroken. The actress got extremely emotional on the last day of the shoot. In a recent interview with ETimes, Kamya revealed, “I cried a lot when the director announced pack-up. I didn’t leave the set for a couple of hours. It has been a few days since the shoot wrapped up, but I continue to feel low.”

'Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii', which premiered on May 30, 2016, ran for five long years before closing curtains earlier last week. The show starred Cezanne Khan, Kamya Panjabi and Rubina Dilaik among others.

Kamya also clarified that ending the show wasn’t an overnight decision. She elaborated and said, “It was planned aur sabki razamandi thhi ismein. Shakti is a brand, which started on a beautiful note, and I am glad that it has ended on a high instead of being dragged unnecessarily. Bas yahi hai ki koi dhakke maar ke nikaale usse achchha aap izzat se nikal jao (smiles). Today, many shows are returning with the second season and I am sure Shakti will come back too.”

Kamya was offered the show when she was going through a low phase on the personal front. She detailed how Shakti played a pivotal role in her life and her connection with the show.

She said, “Shakti has given me a new life. I was in depression when I joined the show. Karan got married in 2015, and I was in no position to work for almost a year. I was in a very bad state when I joined the show in 2016. Iss show ne mujhe zinda rakha aur ek nayi zindagi dee. I immersed myself in work and got out of that phase gradually.”

She is currently making the most of her free time hanging out with her friends. But that doesn’t mean that she intends to go on a break.

“I am not the kind of person who would say, ‘Oh! I need a break, go for a holiday and rejuvenate’. I am a workaholic and I worship my job. I am meeting my friends, who I couldn’t earlier as I was caught up with the shoot of Shakti. I am waiting for my husband (Shalabh Dang) to arrive in Mumbai, so that I can have a gathering with my Shakti team at my home. After that, I will go to Delhi,” Kamya concluded, as quoted by ETimes.

As surprising as it sounds, there has been no official announcement about the show’s wrap up. Producer Rajini Sharma has reportedly told the team to keep the news under wraps; hence one doesn't find any Twitter or Instagram post reminiscing the time that was happily spent on the sets. However, the cat is out of the bag, and yes, if we are to go by the recent reports the show has wrapped up.
