Here’s the final
outcome of Jannat Zubair’s kissing controversy which has been making headlines
in the past few days.
The 16-year-old’s
parents had a meeting with the makers (Gurudev Bhalla Productions) and channel
(Colors) this afternoon over their decision of her daughter quitting the show
if they continue to make her do scenes which involve her getting up, close and
personal with her co-actor Ritvik Arora.

can tell you that the two parties have called it truce and Jannat will continue
to be part of Tu Aashiqui.
Confirming the
news, Jannat's mother, Nazneen Rahmani, told SpotboyE.com, "Yes, we had a
meeting with the makers and they have accepted our terms and conditions.
Henceforth, Jannat will not do any intimate scene as has already been mentioned
in our contract. She is just 16 years old and we don't want her to engage in
any sort of intimacy.”
She adds, “We respect the script’s demand and to tell you, we allowed her to do a few scenes which involved Ritvik kissing Jannat’s hand. In fact, we used to apply wax and make-up on the body so that the sensation of touch is minimal. We know we are part of the glamour industry where such things are normal, but it’s just that my daughter is young for it".

For those who
have come in late, it all began with a certain intimate scene was being planned
between Jannat and Ritvik who essay the roles of Pankti and Ahaan in Tu
Aashiqui. This didn’t go down well with the actress’ mother who voiced her
opinion to the makers. In fact, later the discussion turned into an argument
when the producers refused to see her point of view.
