Apart from putting his sense of humour on display, Ishqbaaz fame Nakuul Mehta also knows how to make social commentary on social media. Speaking of which, the actor recently made a cryptic post on his Twitter handle and we wonder if it has to do anything with Rhea Chakraborty. Why Rhea? Well, since yesterday Bollywood stars were trending 'Roses are red, violets are blue, let's smash the patriarchy, me and you' on social media after witnessing Rhea wearing this text on her t-shirt as she reached the NCB office yesterday. Similarly, we saw Nakuul talking about 'matriarchy' in his recent post which sort of gives a sense that he is seeking justice for Rhea.
However, while sharing the cryptic post, it also has a connection to Netflix's hit show, Money Heist as he wrote, "Like Tokyo would say, 'Let the matriarchy begin..'" After sharing this, there are some users who didn't talk about the social commentary but instead trolled him for not watching the show properly and to point out the matriarchy spelling mistake. A Twitter user wrote, "Bhai Money Heist theek se dekh le... Tokyo ne nahi Nairobi ne bola tha ye... Baad me cool lagne ke liye kuch aur quote kar diyo! Aur han Matria'r'chy hoti hai!" Another one said, "That's Nairobi, aise justice maangoge to kaise milega batao." while one wrote, "Well it was said by Nairobi..plz rectify it"
Meanwhile, stars like Sonam Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vidya Balan, Dia Mirza, Amitabh Bachchan's daughter, Shweta Bachchan, Huma Qureshi, Raveena Tandon, Hansal Mehta, Anurag Kashyap, Pulkit Samrat, Radhika Apte and many more have participated in this trend.
On the other hand, Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Tuesday and was moved to women's jail today. Reportedly, the Jalebi actress has been sent to 14-days judicial custody, however, her lawyers have applied for bail.
