International Kissing Day 2019: Parth Samthaan- Pooja Banerjee, Nakuul Mehta-Surbhi Chandana; TV Celeb Liplocks That Went Viral

It's International Kissing Day and we thought of going beyond Bollywood. Be it Ram Kapoor & Prachi Desai's famous kissing scene or Parth and Pooja's kiss for a web series which was highly objected because they play siblings on another TV show. Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2's actors Parth Samthaan and Pooja Banerjee's liplock for their web series Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai Season 2 created a lot of buzz. The netziens strongly objected to the kiss between onscreen siblings. Yes, you read it right. Both Parth and Pooja play siblings on Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 but got a chance to play lovers on a web series where they had to kiss.  Both were mercilessly trolled to which Pooja Banerjee reacted. Talking to us excluisvely, she said,  "It really feels great to receive so much love and appreciation from my fans. I am sure they will be shocked since nobody saw it coming and this is the first time they will see me kissing on screen. Parth and I play siblings on Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and we also share a good rapport as both colleagues.. But at the end of the day we both are actors who always get into the skin of their respective characters to give their best shot. I have been getting reviews that Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai has shown my versatility and I always will give my 100 per cent as an actress. It really feels good."

Ishqbaaaz jodi Nakuul Mehta and Surbhi Chandana witnessed a hot and passionate sequence between the two where Anika and Shivaay are seen romancing on Laal Ishq Malal Ishq from Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s film, Ram Leela. The two also locked lips while performing the scene. Considering the serial was much loved while it was on air, this scene surely helped raise the TRP 

Drashti Dhami and Shakti Arora's love making scene from Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka created a lot of buzz. The makers scripted an intimate scene between the two post their confession of love for each other. However, Drashti was misreably trolled over the internet for beig a home breaker and cheating her best friend. 

TV actors Ashish Sharma (Prithvi) and Sonarika Bhadoria's (Mrinal) passionate kissing scene from their show Prithvi Vallabh made social media go crazy. The video that surfaced on the internet created a lot of buzz even before it went on air. Talking to SpotboyE.com exclusively back then, Ashish finally opened up about the controversial kiss (that wasn’t), “The kiss wasn't necessary as such as far as I know. Though there was talk about a kissing scene since sometime, I wasn’t convinced that it will add anything to the story, or take it forward in anyway. I am happy that even without us actually going ahead with the kiss, they got what they wanted.”

Karan Kundra and Yogita Bihani's liplock from Dil Hi To Hai also went viral.The two played Ritwik and Palak on the show, and their intense chemistry turned out to be too hot to handle for the audience as well as netizens. The sequence of love making scene from the show made headline which showed Ritwik and Palak getting stuck in Mumbai rains. They take shelter in a nearby cottage where Palak catches the chill. She suffers from cold and high fever and her condition deteriorates. In a DDLJ-esque sequence, the two ending up coming close.

Shivin Narang and Tunisha Sharma starrer Internet Wala Love on Colors was quite the talk of the town when the kiss between Jai (Shivin Narang) and Aadhya (Tunisha Sharma) went on air. The two going on a date and sharing a romantic moment, which eventually led to a kiss. But Shivin kissing a 16-year-old actress made a lot of noise on internet. Explaining it to us, Shivin said, “Honestly, it was  aesthetically shot. So it looked graceful. Yes our audience is family and we hadfthis in mind, but our TG is also the youth, and a kiss at the start of a relationship cannot be avoided. I am sure that the audience was not uncomfortable. In fact, I think they quite loved it." 

Divy Drishti actors Advik Mahajan (Rakshit) and Sana Sayyad's (Drishti) sensuous love making moment let the temperature go soaring high. In the scene Rakshit and Drishti have a heated argument in their room. However, they soon are besotted in love that  result in them kissing each other.The sequence was been aesthetically shot and it did come out really well. Advik also shared his wife Neha Mahajan's take on the kissing scene, "Neha knows me from my college days, and she understands an actor’s job and my passion towards acting.She has no qualms on me kissing on-screen. We both have made a lot of sacrifices to reach here.We support each other, and she gets happy seeing me becoming successful in life.'

Well they might be considered not not-so-progressive saas bahu serials, but our TV industry has come a long way in being in sync with today's times. After all how can we forget Ram Kapoor and Prachi Desai's famous kiss from Kasamh Se (2009) that made news even before we had Twitter/Instagram or Facebook.
