Reality TV star Benafsha Soonawalla showing off her flesh in her Instagram post, covering her assets with hand, caused a stir on the internet. Receiving an eye-popping reaction on the same, the post was later pulled off from the social networking platform. However, without bashing the social networking platform, she felt it a bit odd as many such pictures are very much available on the Instagram. Not revealing any names, she also shared the reason behind the platform deactivating her post is people having verified account reporting about it.
As reported in Times Of India, she was quoted saying, “I didn’t feel there was anything inappropriate about my picture. However, some people with verified accounts reported it, after which the photo was pulled down. However, I don’t take these things to heart. I laughed it off.” Adding further she mentioned that it’s the picture, but the mind sets of the people which need to change. Also she feels people should stop seeing body as a mere sexual object and appreciate it as beauty.
Benafsha adds, “I feel that the problem is with the way some people think. I wish they didn’t see a body as a mere sexual object, but also appreciated its beauty. The bigger problem is when people tell you that you have triggered their imagination in a certain way. To be honest, that was not what I did.”
