Meanwhile, a week ago, YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani had made a spoof on the same show Shark Tank India. The video titled 'Sasta Shark Tank' tracked the exact structure as that of the reality show. The style and the essence of the spoof were meant to provoke laughs and it was a huge hit on social media.

A social media user had asked Anupam about his views on the parody. He had also asked him if he thinks the way his character has been portrayed is wrong. The CEO of Shaadi.com had responded, “ignore, use bhi apna ghar chalana hai. Anyway, besides me, nobody can assassinate my character. Woh privilege mein apne paas hi rakhta hoon,” and added winked face emojis.
