Indian Idol 12's auditiona have started in full swing with judges, Himesh Reshammiya, Vishal Dadlani and Neha Kakkar picking the best out of the lot. When one talks about auditions, people only think about the hilarious and funny acts during the sessions. However, a participant named Anushka Banerjee faced a little problem during the Indian Idol 12's audition round. As she started singing, Anushka got a little anxiety attack and asked for some water. While she was narrating her ordeal of having anxiety attacks, judge Neha Kakka chipped in and extended support by revealing how she went through the same in the past.
She commented, "I also go through social anxiety attacks when I perform. When I am on stage, my heart races like never before and my hands shiver." Hearing Neha Kakkar's story and seeing her overwhelming support, it boosted Anushka’s confidence and it worked in her best interest. Even Vishal helped her by asking her to take a few deep breaths while Himesh asked her to relax. After which, she sang Chupke Se from Saathiya and won everyone's heart with her mettle. She has been chosen for the next round.
This is not for the first time that Neha has extended support to a participant. Earlier, another contestant named Shehzad told the judges about his poverty and revealed that his grandmother took Rs. 5,000 loan, so that he could come to Mumbai and be present on the Indian Idol stage. After listening to his plight, Neha who appeared to be touched offered him Rs 1 Lakh.
