This weekend gracing the singing reality show Indian Idol 12 is music composer Anandji Virji Shah of the famous music composer duo Kalyanji–Anandji. The episode is titled as Kalyanji Anandji Special, where contestants will be seen performing songs composed by him and his partner. Contestant Shanmukhapriya expressed being under pressure for the upcoming episode as she wants to do full justice to the song. Shanmukhapriya has been criticized for her singing style by the audience, followed by the audience asking the makers to eliminate her.
In the long video clip shared by Sony Television on their Instagram account, she expressed being under pressure, followed by assuring to give her best as she practiced thoroughly. On the end note hoping that everything falls in place. She is heard saying, “Is baar mein gaanewali hu yeh Mera Dil from the movie Don, matlab woh utna iconic hai aur abhi mere upar thoda pressure hai ki usko sahi tareke se nibhana padega aur sahi tatrreke practice karna padega aur main practice kar rahi hu aur and I hope everything goes well.”

Shanmukhapriya has been majorly slammed after each of her performances, recently the audience also witnessed host Aditya Narayan coming to her rescue when she was trolled. Besides her rest of the contestants such as Nihal Tauro will sing Aur Is Dil Mein Kya Rakha Hai, Ashish Kulkarni will be crooning Pal Bhar Ke Liye Koi Hume, Pawandeep Rajan will be heard singing Jeevan Se Bari Teri Aankhey. Sayli Kamble will perform Ja re Ja O Harjaii, Arunita Kanjilal will sing Salame-Ishq Meri Jaan and Sawai Bhatt will croon Ye Hain Mumbai Nagariya.
