Anu Malik, who was accused in a #MeToo case was removed as a judge from his singing reality show, Indian Idol 10 after he was slammed by playback singer Sona Mohapatra on social media. However, the makers of the singing show approached Anu again for the 11th season despite being accused of #MeToo. Soon when it was announced that Malik will be judging on Indian Idol 11, many were miffed with this news and questioned the makers on how they forgot his sexual misconduct case.

Again, recently, Sona again slammed the makers and Anu Malik which was supported by Neha Bhasin. She too shared her views on the same on her Instagram handle where she called Anu ‘a pervert’ and stated that she is NOT okay with it.  As this issue was becoming a matter of concern, there were some speculations stating if Anu will be quitting the show again or not. However, it looks like that is not going to happen at least anytime soon. According to a report in Pinkvilla, a source was quoted saying that Anu Malik will definitely be on the show. The source said, “Anu Malik will definitely be on the show all the girls are doing is complaining on social media why they don’t take legal action if it is a serious matter.” Well, after this quote, we wonder what Neha and Sona would have to say.

Ever since Indian Idol 11 was announced it has pitted itself into a lot of controversies. If Anu Malik was constantly grabbing headlines for his #MeToo case, Neha Kakka, another judge in the show also got herself in controversy when a contestant tried to forcefully kiss Ms Kakkar in one of the audition rounds in the show. This incident left many shocked including Anu and Vishal.
