Thapki Pyaar Ki actress Smita Singh tested positive for COVID-19 a few days ago. As reported in IANS, the actress spoke about her recovery from the deadly virus and choosing to go off social media while she healed. The Hitler Didi actress' parents Dr. Pratap Singh and Veena Singh too had tested positive, which led to a worrisome atmosphere in the house as they had lost a few family members due to the virus.
Speaking about how they got infected, she revealed that while she was in Lucknow for her mother’s eye surgery, it was during their visits to the hospital, all three were gripped by the virus. She said, “I was at my hometown Lucknow, to be with my parents, as my mother was to go for eye surgery. But in between our visits to hospitals, my parents and I tested positive to Covid-19. We were quarantined at home. My parents were stressed because of all that was happening around us. We even lost a few family members to virus.”
Recalling their recovering phase, she mentioned to cut off herself from social media and phone calls and entertained everyone at home while they remained quarantined. “Apart from healthy diets to all the medical care required to recover Covid. I decided to trust god and believed that 'all Is well'. Apart from our doctors I wasn't not in touch with anyone or was active on social media. I made sure we all take complete rest and no stress,” adds Smita.
