Jennifer Winget
and Harshad Chopra starrer Bepannah is one of the most talked about shows on
Indian television. However, strangely, it never finds a spot in Top 10. In Week
34 (August 18-24), the thriller was at the 18th position. Earlier
this month, we told you that Bepannah is going to go off-air next month. The show was a finite series but got an
extension owing to public demand. But now, the makers have decided to pull the
plug.
Furthermore, Ekta
Kapoor’s Kumkum Bhagya, which almost always is part of Top 5, was ousted from
the bracket and slipped to No.6. However, its spin-off, Kundali Bhagya,
continues to soar and was at the 4thposition.
A Still From Kumkum Bhagya
Up next, Yeh
Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai continues to stay strong and was the second most-watched
show in the week in question. Also going strong is Dance Deewane, judged by
Madhuri Dixit, Shashank Khaitan and Tushar Kalia. From the way the show has
managed to stay strong on the leader board is clear indication that reality
shows will never go out of fashion. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah
registered minor improvement and went from 6 to 5.
A Still From Krishna Chali London
Finally, Krishna
Chali London has featured in Top 10 for the third consecutive week. The show
stars Gaurav Sareen and Megha Chakraborty and revolves around Krishna who
dreams of becoming a doctor but things take a turn for the worse when she gets
married to Radhe who is ambitionless. However, with time he wins over his
reluctant wife and proves to be a devoted husband.
