The debate on Nepotism has picked momentum on social media after Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely death. Netizens are constantly targeting the star kids and some Bollywood biggies blaming them for indulging in favouritism. As nepotism is creating a stir on social media, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 actress and one of the popular actresses in the television industry, Hina Khan spoke about the never-ending topic of nepotism in the industry while speaking to India Today. Hina said that ‘everyone has their own share of struggles where some have to struggle more and some less.’
She was quoted saying by the portal, “If I talk about myself, I have done TV, films, web series, music videos and now I am doing a digital film.” The actress also mentioned how she has to work hard every day just to get noticed by big producers and directors. She quoted, "I am giving my best because I know that I will have to perform well in all my films then someone might notice me. We need to work very hard to get noticed by a big producer or director."
Speaking on nepotism and star kid privilege, she further added, "Star kids or people who are from the industry have the privilege. They won't be affected if one of their films don't work but if I sign one big film and it doesn't work, I won't get another chance. The only difference is, no matter their films work or not, they have back to back films."
Meanwhile, Hina Khan will now be seen in OTT platform Zee5’s Unlock along with Kushal Tandon. The film is been released today on June 27.
