Pavitra Rishta actress Ankita Lokhande celebrated the Maharashtrian new year in a super traditional manner. The actress was seen performing a puja on the Gudi hoisted in her balcony. Looking pretty in a typical Marathi mulgi avatar, she donned a pink nine yards saree with a golden border and shela in a similar combination. Giving it a traditional touch is her jewellery that includes a layered necklace, a nath, statement bangles with her hair styled in a low bun and gajra wrapped around it.
In her caption, she penned a poem wishing everyone a happy new year, she shared raising a gudi to celebrate victory and extend the cultural branch. She also wrote of Gudi being a symbol of happiness and prosperity. She penned this poem in Marathi. Along with a video on her Instagram account, she also posted pictures on her INSTA Stories. Ankita often drops videos of celebrating various festivals and decks up for these occasions leaving her fans in awe of her.

She also celebrated three years of togetherness with her BF Vicky Jain. She dropped a video of their romantic dance thus setting some major couple goals.
On the work front, she was last seen in the action-thriller Baaghi 3 starring Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor. The actress also remained in the news after the sudden death of her former BF actor Sushant Singh Rajput in June 2020.
