A show name Hamari Bahu Silk that used to air on Zee TV was now gone off air after 7 months of its release last year. However, after dedicatedly working for the show for so long, the cast and the crew were not given their payment dues on time. Revealing the dark side of the industry, Zaan Khan who was the lead actor of the show shared a series of videos on his social media handle while informing his fans and the world about non-payment of dues, despite giving the producers more than 6 months' time to give them their hard-earned money.

When the actors and even the people working on the sets didn’t receive their dues, Zaan took the matter in his hand and shared these videos where the actors as well as the spot boy, make-up artist, dress man, stylist, cameraman, assistant director and many more came together and recorded a video and talking about the non-payment dues that has been not given to them even after the show has come to an end.

Zaan posted a video shot by Kirti Choudhary, who played Mausami on the show said, "Our payment has been stopped for almost a year. I hope you understand that we have worked for 7 months, 17 to 18 hours every day even on festivals like Diwali and Rakhi. Our producers and channel are not helping us. Please help us. We need it. As an actor, I had to leave my Mumbai house because I don't have money to pay rent. I had to return home and seek help from my parents because I am helpless. We used all our savings in travelling to the sets and other expenses."

While another Karan Manocha said that not just the actors even the technicians were not given a single penny for their hard work. He also mentioned that the producers have stopped answering our calls and messages. In the video, he said, “Due to the current situation, we are not able to understand anything, don’t know whom to visit, who we should ask for help. It is difficult to sustain in a city like Bombay. We are in a time where people have no work and no food to eat, so in such situation where should we go and what to do, please tell us.” ALSO READ: Humari Bahu Silk's Zaan Khan BLASTS Producers Over Non-Payment Of Dues; Expresses Concern Over News That Cast And Crew May Resort To Commit Suicide
