Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s beloved actor Gurucharan Singh has left his fans worried. A few days ago it was heavily reported that he had gone missing on the evening of April 22. Popularly known for playing the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi, a lot is being speculated about his disappearance. After reports stating that he was unwell and CCTV footage showing him crossing a road on Palam, it is now revealed that he was set to tie the knot.
Yes, you read that right! According to a report by Bollywood Life, he was all set to get married despite his financial struggles. He had reportedly been stressed for the past few days before going missing. He wasn’t even eating well. In an interview, a close friend of Singh opened up about the same and shed light on the fact that he was undergoing medical tests and grappling with elevated blood pressure. Only a few have spoken up about the incident and extended their well wishes to the disappeared actor and his frantic family. As the Delhi Police is currently investigating the disappearance of Gurucharan, it was revealed that he had withdrawn Rs 7000 from an ATM in Delhi. His last location was traced in Palam, a few km away from his home in Delhi, on April 24. It is to be noted, that in his complaint, the 50-year-old actor’s father stated that he went missing on April 22.
According to the missing complaint filed by the actor’s father with the Delhi police, Singh’s flight was scheduled at 8:30 pm on Monday. His complaint read, “My son Gurucharan Singh, Age: 50 years, had left at 8:30 pm on 22nd April to go to Mumbai. He went to the airport to catch a flight. He didn’t reach Mumbai, neither has he returned home and his phone is not reachable.”
