Commenting on the festivity, Sharman Joshi said, “Gudi Padwa is one such festival which indeed brings immense positivity and hope to one and all. This is the first time where I am celebrating it in a traditional way and it feels nothing less than rejuvenating. There is a first time for everything, as Asha and I are coming together for the very first time on screen. I am looking forward to it. I have seen her work and really admire her talent.”
On the occasion, Asha Negi said, “It feels great to be celebrating Gudi Padwa, which signifies the Maharashtrian New Year in the true traditional manner. What else can be a better way than this to seek blessings for our upcoming show Baarish. With the New Year, we both are starting our new journey in the digital space and I hope viewers will keep showering their love and blessings like the way they have been doing so far.”
In the show, Sharman Joshi will be playing the protagonist 'Anuj' and joining him in this eternal love saga as his love interest is the talented actress Asha Negi. Baarish is a journey of two strangers who have always prioritized family over their lives and how they develop a feeling of love & respect for each other on their challenging journey.
