Ever since the lockdown was imposed in India, due to COVID-19, many TV shows went off-air as they couldn’t afford the expenses. Not only that, to make their show survive, many actors even began to shoot from home and the new episodes were aired during the lockdown. Well, the latest show to go off-air is Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega. Yes, you heard that right! Led by Kanika Mann and others, the show will air its last episode by the end of this month. As per online reports, Guddan makers will shoot for its last episodes on January 15 and 16.
Now Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega negative lead Rashmi Gupta has expressed her feelings after learning about her show going off air. Speaking to ETimes, Rashmi Gupta said, “We thought that before us, ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’ would go off air and then it would be our number and thus we were a bit mentally prepared but a few days ago we got to know that it would be us. I have given three years of my life to this show and its like family to me. I have been a part of this show since day one and the bond I have with the actors who were a part of the show before and after the leap will always remain special”
For those who don’t know, Ms. Gupta said that she’s now looking forward to doing more negative roles. She added, “I will start auditioning now and I want to explore the area of negative more. I enjoy doing these types of roles and I think I get a lot of freedom too to perform. This show has given me so much in terms of experience and growth and I am equally excited to use them in my future endeavours.”
