Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, shoots of Bollywood movies and Television shows have come to a standstill. Recently, a few TV fraternity people had a fruitful meeting with Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackery, where the CM agreed upon resuming the shoot of shows with minimum staff following all the safety measures. But let us tell you, you may witness a few changes in your favourite show post the lockdown period. Reportedly, makers of shows are trying every trick to keep their viewers glued to the show.
Likewise, the makers of Guddan Tumse Na Ho Paayega will try their best to get the best rating of the show post the lockdown period. According to a report in Times Of India, the makers have decided to revamp the daily soap by replacing the leading actors with new faces. More than that, the show will take a time leap of around 20 years. But there’s a catch, the leading actress Kanika Mann, and Dadi portrayed by Daljeet Soundh, will be seen in the revamped version, while Nishant Malkani, who plays the main male lead, will mark the exit.
Confirming the same to Times Of India, producer Ved Raj said, “This decision has nothing to do with the lockdown. We had planned to introduce a time leap and a new track much before that. We realised that there was nothing left to explore in the original story. The new storyline seems promising. It’s just that the plan couldn’t be executed earlier because everything came to a halt owing to the lockdown.”
