Queen director and Phantom Films partner, Vikas Bahl, allegedly involved in perhaps the biggest scandal in #MeToo, has found love. I mean, that's what it looks like. Vikas has been in frequent company of Gauahar Khan. SpotboyE.com hears that the two are getting up close and personal. However, friends close to the actress deny any romantic involvement between the two.
Gauahar and Vikas, they say, got introduced by common friends a little before the Vikas Bahl controversy broke out- and chemistry followed. Gauahar stood by him through thick and thin, and has been an integral part of his legal imbroglio. We even hear that the two have travelled together at times, and Gauahar is often seen at his office and residence. A close friend of Gauahar called up to say, "Listen, Gauahar wants to know why can't a man and woman be just friends? Vikas and she are very, very good friends. Yes, she meets him often. But how does that really imply that they are a couple?"

Gauahar Khan & Vikas Bahl
Another friend of Gauahar too rose in her defense. "Gauahar has developed a very good rapport with Vikas. But they are not dating," said the second friend.
Rewind: Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane were very upset with Vikas over the allegations made against him of being a sexual offender. The girl in question was said Vikas Bahl's colleague in Phantom. After Anurag went vocal about his anger about the incident that he felt very wrong of not having spoken on the matter prior to the media throwing it in the open, Motwane issued a statement on Twitter, "I'm truly sorry about what happened to the girl. Vikas Bahl is a sexual offender. He's preyed on a young woman, abused her trust, ruined her life. The scars are going to stay and that just isn't right."
Phantom Boys
Asked why he did not talk about it earlier if he knew what was happening in his company, Motwane had said, "For those of you accusing me of being complicit, creating a boys club, and protecting Vikas - I was silent in the press because I felt I was trying to make things right in a manner that, at all times, sought to protect the identity of the girl in question, without assigning any doubt whatsoever to her version of what had transpired, and most importantly, on terms that she wanted and expressly agreed to then."
As for Kashyap's explanation on why he could not fire Vikas, the Dev D filmmaker had said, "I did everything I could, within what I was told by my partner and his lawyers... His word and his team's word on any matter used to be the final word for us," and then added, "According to legal advice provided to me then, I was told that we had very limited options. Now in hindsight and after taking stock of things myself, I can quite see how I was ill-advised."
That Phantom Boys (including the fourth one, Madhu Mantena) then chose to dissolve the company is another story.
