Gagan Kang’s Funeral Takes Place In Mumbai, Arjit Lavania’s Body Taken To Agra

Saturday turned out to be a tragic one for the TV industry as they lost two TV actors- Arjit Lavania and Gagan Kang -- who play prominent part in Colors' show Mahakali: Anth Hi Aarambh Hai to a road accident.

Now, SpoboyE.com has it that while Gagan’s funeral took place sometime ago in the city, Arjit’s body has been taken to Agra for the final rites.


Arjit Lavania And Gagan Kang Were Killed On The Spot

Arjit’s father, Vijay Lavania, along with daughter and son-in-law came to Mumbai after the shocking news and took the body to Agra.

The actors were returning from shooting in Umbergaon when tragedy struck. The incident took place on Manor highway around 11.45 am. The driver along with Gagan and Arjit lost their lives on the spot.

Show’s producer Siddhart Kumar Tewary told SpotboyE.com "We are shocked and saddened by the tragic news. I don’t think we will ever come to terms with this tragedy. Our hearts go out to the families and we stand with them. Both Arjit and Gagan were good actors and extremely sincere towards their craft.  May their souls rest in peace.”

Needless to say, the tragic news sent shockwaves across the TV industry. Debina Bonnerjee shared a picture of Gagan on Twitter and wrote, “In fond memory and questions and lessons.... #rip #GaganKang .never knew I would write a rip for a friend

Gurmeet Choudhary wrote, “Praying for their departed souls , two young actors , Gagan and Arjit, died in a tragic car crash. May their... (sic).”

Gagan and Arjit’s co-star, Sourabh Raaj Jain too expressed sadness on social media. He wrote, “Extremely saddened by dis tragic loss, may God give strength to dere families. Gagan kang nd Arjit lavania....RIP (sic).” Gagan was last seen in Sony Tv's Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman essaying the character of Maharaj Kesari and essayed the role of Dev Indra in Mahakali: Anth Hi Aarambh Hai.
