As domestic flight services resumed from May 25, a lot of people who were stuck in different parts of the country made their way back home. Actors such as Parth Samthaan, Himansh Kohli, Rohan Mehra were seen heading back to their home, taking flights amid lockdown. They shared their experience on social media, and it’s quite a flip from the usual flying experience, with a lot of precautionary measures in place. Karan Veer Mehra also took the first flight from Mumbai to Delhi and has documented his journey through a video.
Karan Veer Mehra took to his social media to share a 3 minute 42 seconds long video, showing all the procedures right from when he arrived at the Mumbai airport. He was seen in a mask, with a plastic shield on his face. After the flight landed, people were seen maintaining social distancing even while leaving the flight. Karan Veer mentioned how there was no screening at the Delhi airport, nobody telling him to self-quarantine. He then heads home in his car.
After Karan Veer reached his home, he first headed to his terrace to have a bath, after which he met his mom, but through a glass door, as he is in self-quarantine. Take a look at the video.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Bombay Times, Karan Veer Mehra said, “Living alone in Mumbai is not a problem, but Delhi is where my heart is and 60-plus days of lockdown increased my longing to be here. I wanted to be with my family (mom and sister), so I took the first flight home. And though I am in self-quarantine and meeting them only through a glass door, it’s always heartening to be with them. Of course, I can’t wait to start playing with my 10-month-old nephew, Aviraj.” ALSO READ: Flight Services Resume: Rohan Mehra Flies To Amritsar And Finally Reaches Home After 6 Months-VIDEO
