Comedian and rapper Munawar Faruqui returned to his home in Dongri after his Bigg Boss 17 win. He was greeted by hoards of fans waiting around to get a glimpse of him. Photos and videos from the same are still circulating the internet leaving the netizens astonished at his evergrowing fan base. He was seen waving and thanking his fans as he stood on the sunroof of his car. He even dedicated his win to his admirers, however, a fan of his came under fire for illegally using a drone camera to capture the star.

According to a report by the Free Press Journal, the Dongri Police registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the drone operator, identified as Arbaaz Yusuf Khan (26), for violating regulations. The media publication reports that Constable Nitin Shinde and PSI Tausif Mulla were on patrol as they witnessed people participating in the celebration near Char Nal at 4:30 pm. It was then that Shinde noticed a person using the drone camera to film the gathering. Upon questioning Khan, the police officers got to know that he lacked proper permissions and authorisations to use the drone camera. The FPJ report further states that the officials proceeded to confiscate the drone camera. The authorities have filed a case against him for violating the Mumbai Police Commissioner’s orders about drone usage. They emphasised the importance of adhering to rules and regulations to ensure public safety. Talking about Munawar Faruqui’s win, the comedian took home the trophy of Bigg Boss season 17, a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh, and a brand-new Hyundai Creta. Apart from his bonding with Mannara Chopra, his journey on the show included facing turmoil when his ex-girlfriend Ayesha Khan entered the reality show. She made a lot of allegations against him, accusing him of emotional manipulation and cheating. They even brought up Nazila Sitaishi, his ex who he was dating before Ayesha. The accusations made by the two women had left the viewers in shock. For the unversed, Bigg Boss 17 is Munawar Faruqui’s second reality show win. He had won Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp season 1.
