The search for an apt replacement for producer-director Karan Johar has ended on a not-so-surprising note. Filmmaker Farah Khan, according to sources, has been roped in to judge the remaining season of Jhalak Dikkhlaa Jaa 8. The show is currently telecast on Colors.
Karan, right from the beginning, had decided to move out of the show after eight or ten episodes because he had blocked dates to shoot his next, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, with Aishwarya Rai, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.
The filmmaker, known for films like Happy New Year, Main Hoon Naa and Om Shanti Om, has judged the show once when it was aired on another channel. The channel's search has ended on Farah Khan, who previously anchored Bigg Boss Season 8 after Salman quit a month before it ended. She also had a cookery show on the same channel that wrapped up around May-June.
