He said, "I always heard that television was a perfect medium for inspiring talents as here there are not many struggles as compared to one faces to become a Bollywood actor. I never knew before that I too will have to struggle a lot to get the right break. Today I'm enjoying acting for popular shows but I have come across and escaped many fraudsters, who cheat on newcomers giving them different fake commitments like providing them with an artist card and helping them to get a lead role in TV shows. Initially, I was about to be a victim but by God's grace, I escaped them under the guidance of dance teachers here. So the success I'm enjoying wasn't that easy for me."
Furthermore, the actor who made his acting debut by essaying the role of Anurag, in the popular TV show Kaamnaa, revealed that he even faced rejection even after being part of popular shows.
He continued, "After making a good debut still the struggle didn't end for me. The rejection becomes so used to. In fact after being part of popular shows like Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey, Pisachini, Nima Denzongpa, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, Mann Sundar, Shubh Laabh - Aapkey Ghar Mein, Spy Bahu still among others still the rejection trend was so regular that it became so usual now. Still, hopes are high and now when I'm part of such a big show I feel it will surely bring a positive change in my acting career."
Mukund feels his best moment was when he was finalized for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. "The show is a favourite to my family. And starring in the show to play a negative role has lots of hope and dreams. I feel one of the best moments I experienced was when I was finalized for this show. I'm happy and thankful to the makers of the show."
